Low-income, disabled adults receive $437,000 in charitable oral care through WDA Foundation’s Donated Dental Services

WEST ALLIS, Wis. – Dentists volunteering through the Wisconsin Dental Association Foundation’s Donated Dental Services (DDS) program provided $437,918 in charitable dental care to 85 adults in the state who are disabled, low-income, elderly and uninsured between July 1, 2020 and June 30, 2021. Dental laboratories in Wisconsin also played a significant role in these efforts by contributing an additional $15,639 in materials and services of their own. WDA Foundation gives back to dental and hygiene students with $30,000 in scholarships

WEST ALLIS, Wis. – The Wisconsin Dental Association Foundation today announced it has awarded $30,000 in 2021 scholarships to dental and hygiene students in Wisconsin. The scholarships will help alleviate dental education expenses for those students and help ensure the availability of quality oral care throughout the state for years to come. The Wisconsin Dental Association today released the following statement from WDA President Dr. Paula Crum, a Green Bay periodontist, after LRB 1534-1 was released for co-sponsorship:
