Medical Protective and Professional Insurance Programs are pleased to announce that registration is now open for our annual Risk Management Seminar. The topic this year will be, Ten Things I’m Concerned About in the Practice of Dentistry (and You Should Be, Too).
The seminar will be held from 8 a.m. to noon on Friday, Sept. 20 at West Bend Mutual Insurance Company Prairie Center in West Bend. By participating in this seminar, you can earn continuing dental education credits (CDEs) and if you are a MedPro policy holder, you may be eligible for a 7.5% risk management premium credit for the next three policy renewals.
We will be offering a two-hour Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) training following the seminar, from 1 to 3 p.m. The training course will provide a thorough review of the Bloodborne Pathogens and Hazard Communication standards as they relate to the practice of dentistry, as well as the most current Centers for Disease Control and Prevention guidelines for infection control in dental health care settings. You can earn CEDs from this course as well. For more information on this presentation, click here.
