The Wisconsin Dental Association House of Delegates is being held Friday, Nov. 9, and Saturday, Nov. 10, at the Blue Harbor Resort in Sheboygan. Only registered House members can be seated on the floor and vote, but any WDA member is welcome to attend and watch the proceedings from the guest section as your association’s policies, leaders, advocacy efforts, bylaws and future are discussed. Updates on WDA and its subsidiaries’ matters and programs are also given. Guests may participate in the open discussion of the resolutions before the House.
In between the business of the House, we will have presenting guests and a bit of ceremony too. Your WDA Leadership Academy will graduate and new officers elected. Your 2018-2019 Board will be sworn in.
The Speaker of the House is reviewing delegation names for House committee appointments. Distribution of OnDemand e-communications begin in August. The WDA special rate for sleeping rooms expires Oct. 8. Online registration for House meetings closes Nov. 2. Not to mention, the time needed to schedule your time away. Don’t miss a deadline or an opportunity to work closely with your peers.
