As of today’s date, all avenues are open for the WDA House to be held in-person. We are working with the hotel to assure social distancing and hotel sanitizing meet recommended standards and we’re keeping an eye on the virus’s status. The annual business of the Association needs to done so, if need be, we will move to a virtual House.

The Wisconsin Dental Association House of Delegates is being held Friday, Nov. 13, and Saturday, Nov. 14, at the Madison Marriott West in Middleton. Only registered House members can be seated on the floor and vote, but any WDA member is welcome to attend and watch the proceedings from the guest section as your association’s policies, leaders, advocacy efforts, bylaws and future are discussed. Updates on WDA and its subsidiaries’ matters and programs are also given. Guests may participate in the open discussion of the resolutions before the House.
In between the business of the House, we will have presenting guests and a bit of ceremony too. The third WDA Leadership Academy will graduate, and officers, our first at-large trustee and House committee members will be elected. Your 2020-2021 Board will be sworn in.
Speaker of the House is reviewing delegation names for House committee appointments. Distribution of OnDemand e-communications begin in August. The WDA special rate for sleeping rooms expires Oct. 14. Online registration for House meetings will close Nov. 2. Not to mention, the time needed to schedule your time away. Don’t miss a deadline or an opportunity to work with your peers.
