The Wisconsin Dental Association Foundation needs your talents, expertise and ideas to move into its seventh decade of supporting dentists and dental-related causes. The foundation is the 501(c)(3) charitable arm of the WDA and is the umbrella organization for the Mission of Mercy, Donated Dental Services, Dentists Concerned for Dentists, the Emergency Relief Fund, the Annual Grant program, the Smile program and the annual scholarship program. It has its own board of directors to oversee these programs and that is where you come in.
The WDA Foundation is currently seeking dentists from select areas of the state to work with the Foundation, helping to guide operations and keep these charitable programs vital.
Terms are three-years in length and begin Jan. 1, 2018. We are specifically looking for interested dentists in Northeast Region 2, Greater Milwaukee Region 3 and Southwest Region 5, but would be happy to consider individuals from other areas of the state as well.
The WDA Foundation Board of Directors is a great opportunity to develop your leadership skills while giving back to your profession.
