A 38-yea-old female was referred to a dental clinic for the diagnosis and treatment of an ulcerated lesion of several days duration. The lesion was well defined, slightly tender and measured 1.00×1.00 cm (Figure #1). The lesion was located on the left hard palate and the patient could not remember any traumatic incidence. The patient was non-smoker and otherwise healthy.
