Another year means another Code on Dental Procedures and Nomenclature or CDT. The CDT 2020 is the dental office reference manual that the American Dental Association publishes on an annual basis. This manual contains all the CDT code, which is the national terminology for reporting dental services on claims submitted to insurance companies.
For 2020, there are 37 new codes, 5 revised codes and 6 deleted codes. CDT 2020 also includes some commonly used ICD-10-CM (diagnosis) codes that are applicable to dentistry.
