Many Wisconsin residents desperately need oral care, but because of their low income, that oral care has to take a backseat to other necessities of life. Wouldn’t it be great if there was a way that you could help them regain the good oral health they have been lacking? If this sounds appealing, the WDA Foundation’s Donated Dental Service (DDS) Program might be just what you’ve been looking for! For nearly 25 years, Wisconsin dentists and dental laboratories have been donating their time and talents to the DDS Program, helping thousands of deserving individuals improve their lives.
The program currently has more than 100 applicants patiently waiting for oral care. If you have some free time, you could be their connection to improved oral health.
Donated Dental Services is an application-only program that provides comprehensive oral treatment to low-income Wisconsin residents who meet specific criteria. There is no cost to the patient and the goal is to restore oral health for those who cannot afford the much-needed care. DDS Patients receive oral treatment in the dentist’s office with appointments set at times that are mutually agreeable to both the dentist and the patient.
The DDS program knows that your time is valuable so unless you request more, we will only ask you to take one or two cases per year. We make it as easy as possible for you by pre-qualifying the applicant, arranging for an initial appointment, working with necessary laboratories and specialists and following up when the case is complete.
Think about your treatment schedule. If you have some open slots, just imagine how great it will feel to fill those slots while changing someone’s life.
