There’s yet another way you can get important information and updates from the Wisconsin Dental Association – follow us on Instagram!
We’re posting engaging images, member profiles and information @wisconsindental, and we’ll be adding contests and other fun activities, too. Instagram is the world’s fastest-growing social media network. Its use among young adults ages 18 to 34 is incredibly high, and it’s a great way for the WDA to engage with the newer dentists and dental students who are the profession’s future.
Instagram is part of a full stable of WDA social media channels, including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and YouTube. Be part of the conversation by following us on social, adding your comments and sharing our posts, pictures and videos. Social media is an important tool to reach not only our WDA members, but also the general public, news media, lawmakers and health organizations.
If you’re not yet on Instagram, give it a try. You’ll see the WDA is in good company. Portuguese soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo is the world’s top Instagrammer, with 152.6 million followers as of January 2019. Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson had 129.7 million. Kim Kardashian had 125.7 million, and Beyoncé had 123 million. The WDA isn’t quite there yet, but follow us now and we’ll be one step closer!
