Every year at this time, you are invited to renew your professional relationship with dentistry by beginning or maintaining your WDA membership. As a WDA member, you receive many benefits including advocacy, member communications, continuing education, consumer awareness, practice management, networking and cost savings opportunities.
While you are activating your membership, please remember to include an annual donation to the WDA Foundation with your dues payment. The WDA Foundation is truly YOUR foundation and it depends on your support to maintain its charitable programs.
Even during these uncertain months, the WDA Foundation has worked hard to keep its charitable programs available, helping Wisconsin residents and the state’s professional dental community.
Seniors continue to receive comprehensive oral care through the Foundation’s Donated Dental Services program. Dental and dental hygiene students are awarded Foundation scholarships so they are able to continue their education and prepare for their entrance into the professional community. Worthy nonprofits are awarded the WDA Foundation’s financial and supply grants to help them do what they do best – improve oral health in the community.
You can support the efforts of the WDA Foundation in a variety of ways, from donating your time and expertise to providing a financial gift when you renew your WDA membership – or at any time of the year. When you choose to make a financial gift to the Foundation, it is combined with those given by your peers, which tremendously magnifies the impact of every dollar.
This year, when you make your commitment to organized dentistry, please also show your dedication to the profession by making a tax-deductible investment in the WDA Foundation.
The Foundation is an independent 501(c)(3) charitable organization that works closely with the WDA but is independent from it. Nearly 50% of the Foundation’s annual unrestricted revenue comes directly from member donations made through the annual dues statement.
The Board of Directors and staff of the Wisconsin Dental Association Foundation wish you a happy and healthy holiday season. Thank you for your continued support!
