- Help 11 dental and dental hygiene students pay for their education?
- Provide financial support to 15 non-profit dental clinics and programs so they could in turn help hundreds of children and adults?

You did if you were one of the nearly 1,300 WDA members who made a donation to the Wisconsin Dental Association Foundation on their 2019 dues statement.
Improving Wisconsin’s oral health takes money and dedication. It’s only with your support that the WDA Foundation can continue expanding and strengthening its efforts to help those in need across the state. The foundation’s largest source of unrestricted funding comes directly from the donations that WDA members make on their dues statements. If you are currently an annual donor, we sincerely thank you and ask that you continue your investment in dentistry for the future.
If you have not yet shown your support; please consider joining your fellow dentists by including an annual donation on your dues statement. If you’ve already paid your 2020 dues, but forgot to make a donation; don’t wait until next year! Simply click on this link to be taken to the Foundation’s donation page. The suggested donation is just $60, but any amount that fits your budget is gratefully accepted and appreciated.
This year will be a busy one for the WDA Foundation as its programs are changing and improving. The Donated Dental Services program will continue to provide oral care to low-income elderly while increasing its service to veterans. In June, more than 1,700 will enjoy improved oral health during its 10th Mission of Mercy. The amount of funding offered through competitive dental scholarships is doubling in 2020 and grant money will continue to be awarded to worthy oral care organizations. Of course, Dentists Concerned for Dentists and the Charitable Assistance Fund will stand ready to help professionals in crisis.
The WDA Foundation is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization so every dollar you donate is tax deductible to the full extent of the law. If you want to learn more about the WDA Foundation and how your donation is used, contact Foundation Executive Director Vicki Bohman at [email protected] or 414-755-4198.
