WDA Legislative Day is a forum for member dentists to join together and form a strong, collective voice for upholding high standards for oral health care in the Badger State.
Dentists should call in advance and schedule a time to meet with their state legislators in their Capitol offices after 1:30 p.m. Follow this link (http://legis.wisconsin.gov/) and type in your home address. Enter your work address to determine if your legislators are the same at both locations. Contact the WDA Legislative office (888-538-8932) for assistance coordinating meetings with other members in your legislative districts.
Marquette University School of Dentistry students in years two and three will again join us for the day. All students need to be matched with a dentist “host” for the afternoon legislative visits to the Capitol. Please consider taking two students on your visits to lawmakers’ offices. This does not require you to pick up, drop off or drive MUSOD students to Madison.
