Piles of paperwork do not make the office function more efficiently. That’s why the American Dental Association is teaming up with the nonprofit alliance CAQH to help streamline the credentialing process. The ADA® credentialing service, powered by CAQH ProView® enables dentists to enter their professional information just once in an easy-to use, online digital solution that’s fast, protected and free and available to all U.S. practicing dentists.
“We hope the days of dentists submitting multiple credentialing applications are coming to an end,” said Dr. Joseph Crowley, ADA president. “This service provides an alternative to the traditional paper method where dentists must respond individually to each payer request for credentialing information, a slow and cumbersome process.”
The ADA credentialing service will also help ease the frustration with processes such as:
- Credentialing with existing plans
- Enrollment and credentialing with new plans
- Updating provider directories
- Employment onboarding and more
“CAQH is a distinguished leader in creating shared initiatives that streamline the business of health care,” said Dr. Crowley. “This collaboration is a great opportunity for all dentists to simplify the business of dentistry through a smart, efficient solution that more than 1.4 million other health care providers already use.”
