Soon you will receive your annual invitation to renew your membership in organized dentistry for 2017. As a Wisconsin Dental Association member, you receive many benefits, including advocacy, member communications, continuing education, consumer and patient awareness, practice management resources and networking and volunteer opportunities.
The Wisconsin Dental Association Foundation is another membership benefit. The WDA Foundation is truly YOUR foundation and it depends on your support to maintain its programs.
This is a two-way street. As you support the foundation, it is working to benefit you.
- WDAF offers volunteer opportunities through Donated Dental Services and Mission of Mercy.
- It provides leadership development by inviting you to serve on the foundation’s Board of Directors or on one of its many committees.
- The foundation helps ensure your charitable investments have a greater impact. Every dollar you donate to the foundation supports a variety of worthy programs that assist both the public and the dental community.
This year when you renew your WDA membership, please show your dedication to the profession of dentistry by also making a tax-deductible investment in the WDA Foundation.
The foundation is an independent 501(c)(3) charitable organization that works closely with the WDA but is separate from it. Nearly 30 percent of the foundation’s annual revenue comes directly from members’ donations made through their dues statement. Each time you make a gift, you are giving back to your chosen profession.
Please help your WDA Foundation reach its $75,000 goal by making your annual gift in the suggested amount of $60 – or in any amount that suits your budget. Thank you for investing in the future of dentistry and the oral health of Wisconsin residents!
