These are indeed unprecedented times. D&S Dental Laboratory, Inc. has been crafting restorations for more than four decades, ever since Dick and Sally Pilsner started the laboratory on the east side of Madison in 1972.
Over these years, we’ve seen a lot of changes in our industry. I can personally remember the push back we received years ago when zirconia restorations began to overtake PFMs and full-cast crowns. Many people struggled with the transition to digital production this past decade. More recently, there have been questions about the return on investment of intraoral scanning.
While this pandemic has turned the dental industry upside down, I am confident that, as with past challenges to our industry, we will get through this together.
