Please keep an eye out in early December for your 2019 Wisconsin Dental Association membership invitation (dues statement).
To pay your dues online, visit WDA.org and click the Join/Renew button on the top or the bottom of the homepage. Make sure to pay by noon on Dec. 28 if you want your dues marked “paid” in 2018 for tax purposes.
The deductibility of WDA dues as it relates to the new tax bill are as follows: The itemized deduction for professional membership dues was eliminated, but the business deduction for dues remained in place. Dues to a professional organization are still deductible as a business expense, with the exception of the portion of dues attributable to lobbying activities. The lobbying percentage is included on your dues statement each year to calculate this amount. Consult a tax advisor for more tax information or with questions.
Do you have the ADA Visa® Rewards credit card? Pay your 2019 membership dues with Visa® Rewards card to earn double points on your credit card statement.
2019 payment options
Available for 2019 are the 12 and six month installment plans for members paying with a credit card or e-check between Dec. 1, 2018, and Jan. 31, 2019.
Never worry again about your membership lapsing by setting your WDA membership dues to auto-renew. Similar to gym and Netflix memberships, just select the auto-renew option and the WDA will automatically charge you for your dues every year. Only available via credit card.
If you have not received your statement by Dec. 10, please contact WDA Member Data Support Specialist Christine Peacy ([email protected] or 414-755-4116).
We look forward to having you join us for another exciting year of organized dentistry and moving your profession forward!
