The Local Dental Societies page is host to many tools you need to operate, manage and lead a component effectively. Best of all, this members-only information is available 24/7.
Each local dental society has its own page with component officers’ contact information and a link to upcoming meetings on the Calendar of Events. These dates are also shared in the first WDAJ-Now app (download here) post of each month.
Other component-related resources on WDA.org include:
- The toolbox which includes such useful items as a form to report changes in your local dental society leadership; various templates (e.g., continuing education certificates, bylaws, meeting minutes); volunteer immunity and insurance information; list of legal obligations (e.g., tax forms, meeting rules of order, records retention guidelines, WDA governance structure, branded-tripartite component logos; and, lists of state agencies).
- A speaker’s bureau list with recommendations for CE programs on a variety of topics, including finance, insurance, practice management and more.
