Dentistry is your calling. Whether you’ve been practicing for five years or 20 years, it is a part of your life.
As a dentist, you have an unique set of talents and skills that can change lives.
Consider sharing your abilities by volunteering for the Wisconsin Dental Association Foundation’s Donated Dental Services program.
Directly help qualified individuals to reclaim good oral health. Volunteer dentists are vital to the success of the DDS program.
The dentist and dental staff need to do minimal organizational work. Patients are thoroughly screened and matched with an appropriate dentist in their area.
Participating dentists are not required to accept a specific number of patients each year or accept a specific patient.
If the timing of a DDS assignment is not acceptable or treatment needed is not a good match, a volunteer dentist can decline. Should a dentist decline, staff reschedule the patient with a different volunteer dentist.
If dental labs or specialists are required, arrangements can also be made.
