If you’re interested in sharing a fun day with colleagues and other golfers during the best golf month of the season…the WDA Foundation State Dental Golf Classic is for you.
Not sure about participating in an organized event? Well, if you’ve never tried the WDA Foundation outing you’re really missing out. You don’t need a full foursome to participate and you can specify a standard or scramble format*. I’ve been involved with this event for many years and I do my best never to miss it.
While the WDA Foundation has been involved only since 2011, this outing has been going on for decades. Every year it moves to one of the best private courses in our state. This year it’s set for Monday, Sept. 11 at Pine Hills Country Club in Sheboygan. We’ve played there before and it routinely draws the best compliments of any course. This gem is waiting for you and your friends to enjoy a day of camaraderie beginning with lunch at 11 a.m. and a shotgun start at noon. The day ends with dinner and a brief awards ceremony.
Besides having a great time golfing, you are helping to maintain the programs of the WDA Foundation which bring improved oral health to Wisconsin residents, as well as support the needs of the dental community. It is a true win-win situation.
