In dental school, it can feel like you are drinking from a fire hose sometimes.
Once you graduate and get a job, you may feel like you’ve made it. But, the same feeling can creep up when you are new in your career. So much information is thrown at you at such a high rate it is easy to overlook some incredibly important things.
“Managing Debt and Wealth” and “Practice Management for All Dentists” are two lectures created by the American Dental Association for its Success series to help dental students and new dentists gain some working knowledge about topics you may not have learned much about during your training.
Do you have a good understanding of what an amortized loan really means?
Do you know what “own occupation” disability insurance really means?
Can you list the most important factors of leadership?
These topics will be discussed in an informal yet informative fashion. Attendees always have many questions and leave better prepared for success in dentistry.
Please join the Wisconsin Dental Association for this great event. There will also be time for networking with your colleagues, and you will receive one nonclinical continuing education credit.
